Our Goals

The state of Madhya Pradesh has the highest rate of rape cases and child trafficking in India.  The state has been the “rape capital” of India over past five years now.  Our goal is to make these girls and boys strong and be able to defend themselves and combat all forms of human trafficking.  To empower and prepare rural children for a bright and safe future, we focus on providing them with reading, writing, vocational courses, mentoring and self-defense skills. We are committed to serving the needy youth and young women in rural parts of Central India.

Education

Martial Arts

Our martial arts program started two years ago and has already instilled confidence and courage in our students who range from 10 years to 17 years of age. Our students have won medals at the state and national levels.

We are now building a new extension to the current school to enroll more students into Taekwondo lessons.

Vocational Training and Mentoring Youth

Along with martial arts, we also mentor the youth and young women to make them self- confident and independent. Our vocational training prepares them for better employment opportunities  The vocational classes include motor mechanics, tailoring, hair styling, driving all ranges of vehicles and English conversation classes.

Our team of 11 members, including a number of local volunteers, believes that every child has the right to education, an opportunity to work, to live healthily and confidently and escape poverty.

Our mission is to build self-esteem, employment opportunities and overall better quality of life to those communities who have been living under the poverty line in a cycle of domestic violence and unemployment.

“You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.” Bringham Young

Other community projects include:
– Rain water harvesting
– Cattle care
– Organic farming

Locations

Our projects are concentrated in the rural villages of Central India such as: Bhama, Shyam Nagar, Mavai, Gurra, Nagwara, PahadiKheda, RataMati.
